“Provide subspecialty care with a focus on minimally invasive procedures, early recovery, and return to function. Getting you back to doing what you love!”

Dr. Mike Smith is an Australian trained Adelaide Orthopaedic surgeon. He specialises in all aspects of Foot, Ankle and Knee surgery, with a particular passion for Keyhole techniques, such as ‘keyhole’ bunion corrections, plantar fascia release, and ankle arthroscopic surgery.

After completing his Orthopaedic Specialist training in Adelaide, Dr. Smith undertook subspecialty fellowships both nationally, in Queensland, and with internationally renowned surgeons throughout Europe, the UK, and the USA. The key focus of this training was on minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery of the foot and ankle, arthroscopy sports injury/reconstruction, and the latest joint replacement techniques, including patient specific instrumentation.

Dr. Smith strongly believes in staying up to date with the latest in surgical advances and techniques and is a regular attendee of local and international conferences. In what spare time he has, Dr. Smith loves the experiences he gains from travelling. He also keeps active with a passion for recreational sports, that he continues to play on a regular basis.
